Scheduling Genius ?!

Looking at Tech's schedule ealier this season, I was appalled to see who our homecoming opponent would be, the Wolfpack of North Carolina State University. Whatever happened to Middle Tennessee State or Furman or some Division I AA schools that major programs usually pick as fodder for the returning alumni. I have to admit though Tech's wreckless scheduling abandon...pun intended... did make this homecoming victory a little sweeter in the end, crushing the Wolfpack's hopes of returning to the Top 25 and Philip Rivers' Heisman hopes...well, maybe not, Rivers was 31-of-46 for 344 yards and two touchdowns, though one was meaningless as it came with only six seconds left in the game...


Six ACC games and the much anticipated victory over UGA to go, then look out Peach Bowl, here we come...
